B&F was called out this past Wednesday for an emergency sewer repair for the City of Peoria. A previous contractor had bored conduit for future electrical utilization directly through the sewer main almost a year ago. Sediment build-up over time caused a full blockage of the system, therefore resulting in a backup of the upstream manholes/main line.
Our team pushed through the night to safely make the main repair and re-open the road to traffic within 24-hours of being called out. Our crews did an amazing job getting the sewer back in service and our Pump Solutions division did great setting up the bypass equipment to accommodate the repair.
