This project was high profile for the County because the alignment ran along private property, and the construction required daily coordination with Canyon Ranch Resort and property owners. B&F self-performed the installation of 3,300 LF of 6-inch HDPE forcemain, including two successful directional drills to mitigate land disturbances. Work scope also included polymer manholes, 190 LF of 8-inch Gravity Sewer, two ARV’s and one Forcemain Testing Station.
B&F assisted RWRD to complete the pump station portion of the project, after dismissing the awarded contractor. Also, B&F completed the electrical scope at the pump station, including the 50’ SCADA pole installation, conduits, setting transformers and coordinating with TEP to energize the station. The project received multiple awards including APWA State 2019 Environmental Project of the Year and AZ Water Wastewater System Project of the Year.
