B&F was selected as a JOC contractor by the City of Peoria for on-call and specific projects for streetlights and traffic systems. The JOC’s issued include, but are not limited to, the installation of flashing (yellow) arrows, installation of multiple new streetlights, signal pole installation, emergency accident assistance (knock downs), rewiring signalized intersections, installation of new traffic signal control cabinets and meter pedestals, installation of new traffic signal foundations, CCTV cameras, Opticom and video detection, and providing concrete and asphalt surface replacement. B&F also provided value engineering and input, allowing the City to benefit from lower costs and time. The JOC allowed the team to develop solid relationships with all parties and build efficient teams with the knowledge and ability to get the job done.
