B&F completed the installation of all the feeder conduit for Sky Harbor’s Sky Train. Our team was brought in during the design phase to provide value engineering solutions and underground utility exploration. We installed fourteen manholes and approx. 10,000 linear feet of 5” conduit. All the conduits were racked and encased. The project had to pass all inspections through the general contractor, Hensel Phelps, and Sky Harbor’s Aviation Department. At each intersection, we had to cross many utilities including sewer, water, storm drain, communications, and fiber.
